All of our poodle puppies, miniature or standard, are raised in our home in the midst of family life. From day one they are handled and socialized. Each poodle puppy is also groomed from an early age to accustom them to the process. Puppies are professionally temperament tested between 7 and 8 weeks of age. All Baroque Poodles' breeding stock is CHIC certified. Health test results are posted on the OFA's public health database for 4 generations for our miniature poodles and 3 generations for our standard poodles. All results are posted, the good as well as the bad. There is no perfect dog, but is is a good breeder's quest to try to achieve such a dog. All of our poodle puppies leave with a complete "Puppy Profile". Included is information on all veterinary history of the puppy, a written health guarantee, a copy of the puppy's Volhard Puppy Aptitute Test, feeding schedule, future vaccination schedule and information about the parents including pedigrees, health testing and photos. All Baroque breeding poodles are health tested according to the guidelines from Versatility in Poodles (miniature or standard). Important Information About Poodles Poodles are a wonderful breed of dog and have enjoyed being one of the most popular in the United States. They are highly intelligent, extremely people-oriented and entertaining. They do not shed, are hypoallergenic, come in many different colors and in three sizes (standard, miniature and toy). The standard and miniature poodles do need regular exercise and activities to keep them busy or they will find their own things to do, which might not be what you want! Poodles often excel at obedience, agility and therapy dog work. They are considered a high-maintenance breed because they need regular professional grooming every 4-8 weeks and need to be a part of the family.

Here is what she has to say about this little girl: "She is such a wonderful companion. We travel most of the summer in our RV and she loves it. She loves the water and has gone swimming in Pike's Peak Dam reservoir, swimming in the ocean all along the coast of California which includes Morro Bay, Crescent City, Mendocino and Ft. Bragg. She also got to swim in the Atlantic ocean at Myrtle Beach, S.C."
